Inspired by a love of nature, good food and a deep conviction that eating healthy can be both simple AND satisfying, Fauxmagerie Zengarry’s mission is to promote the adoption of a plant-based lifestyle by making delicious plant-based cheese and dairy alternatives using only all-natural, locally- and ethically-sourced ingredients.
We were among the first companies in Canada to commercialize cashew cheese, and are still the only food manufacturer in the country to flavour its cheese with fresh herbs grown on site. We are committed to creating a socially- and environmentally-sustainable food chain, and supporting a growing community of like-minded farmers, consumers and retailers who believe we can live longer, healthier and happier if we took better care of ourselves and the planet we call home. x

All our products are crafted with simple, all-natural ingredients that are ethically and locally sourced—and easy to pronounce! We proudly partner with Ontario growers for raw garlic and quinoa, while sourcing cashews from ethical producers in Vietnam. Additionally, we strive to support women-owned businesses in the region that are engaged in sustainable agriculture and food production.
From vertical farm to table
Our production facility houses hydroponic towers we use to grow fresh herbs like basil and parsley to flavour our award-winning cashew spreads and make vegan pestos. By growing our own herbs, we ensure only the freshest ingredients go into our products, while also reducing food waste and lowering our carbon footprint.
